Lead UI/UX Designer

About the Role

NexLoomix is looking for a Lead UI/UX Designer who can transform complex technical products into intuitive, elegant digital experiences. You will lead product design across AI platforms, software products, dashboards and customer-facing experiences while helping establish NexLoomix’s product design standards.

Responsibilities

• Own UI/UX direction for NexLoomix digital products.
• Translate business and technical requirements into product experiences.
• Create user flows, wireframes and prototypes.
• Design responsive interfaces.
• Build and maintain scalable design systems.
• Conduct UX research where appropriate.
• Collaborate directly with developers and AI engineers.
• Create high-fidelity Figma prototypes.
• Improve existing workflows based on usability insights.
• Maintain visual consistency across products.
• Participate in product strategy.
• Present and defend design decisions using evidence and user needs.
• Mentor junior designers when applicable.

Required Qualifications

• Strong Figma expertise.
• Excellent UI and UX fundamentals.
• Strong typography, layout and spacing skills.
• Experience designing web applications.
• Experience building responsive interfaces.
• Understanding of design systems.
• Understanding of user journeys and information architecture.
• Strong prototyping skills.
• Ability to collaborate with engineers.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating product thinking.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing AI products.
• Experience with SaaS platforms.
• Experience with dashboards.
• Familiarity with front-end development concepts.
• Knowledge of HTML and CSS.
• Experience designing complex workflows.
• Motion and micro-interaction design experience.
• Experience leading or mentoring designers.
